What is a support group?
Our domestic abuse support group is a place where people who have experienced domestic abuse can come together to support each other, share their feelings, and help each other heal. We are a caring community where individuals can find understanding, comfort, and strength from others who have gone through similar situations. Our groups provide a safe and supportive environment for survivors to talk about their experiences and receive encouragement and guidance as they work towards healing and recovery.
How can it help?
Being part of a domestic abuse support group can be incredibly beneficial. It can help you feel less alone in your experiences, provide a sense of validation and understanding, and offer a supportive network of people who truly empathise with what you've been through. Our groups often provide valuable resources, coping strategies, and tools to help you navigate through your healing journey. Additionally, being in a support group can boost your self-esteem, provide a safe space to express your emotions, and offer a sense of empowerment as you work towards rebuilding your life after experiencing domestic abuse.
